2 at a time Fingerless Mitts – Dorie
Dorie shows you how to create exquisite fingerless mitts 2 at a time using circular knitting needles. 2

Drop Stitch Scarf – Sharon
A great project for beginning knitters, this scarf knits up fast with bulky yarn and size 11 needles. 1

Make the brim of this cute hat by knitting back and forth on circular needles, then join in the round to

Design Your Own Lace Shawl – Sarah
In this workshop led by local designer Sarah Barbour, participants create a unique triangular lace
shawl by choosing their own stitch pattern! 3 sessions, $40.00

About Our Teachers
Sarah Barbour A busy mother of three, Sarah is an independent knitwear designer with her own
label, Rope. She is currently editing a book of designs inspired by libraries.
Dorie Horne Fiber artist Dorie designs her own knit and crochet patterns and dyes her own
yarns. With her family, she markets a line of artisan products under the label Midnite Oils.
Sharon Spence New shop owner Sharon has been dyeing yarn as “Stitch Jones” for the past
few years, and has taught knitting classes at yarn shops in the Portland metro area.
Lynn Venghaus An accomplished knitter, Lynn designs her own knitwear and has made over 180
sweaters for kids in foster care.
Brian Witt Brian knows crochet! While he is an expert on various techniques, he especially
enjoys teaching this versatile art to beginners.
Robin Woodford Robin previously co-owned Kathy’s Knit Korner, and has taught knitting and
crochet to many.
Class Policies
Registration: Register for classes at the shop, or call us at 503-648-8525 to register with a credit card.
Payment: Class fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the first class session.
Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel classes up to 72 hours in advance. If you have paid for a
class that cancels, you will receive a full refund.
Materials: We offer a 10% discount on class materials (except Addi products). Please note that we are
unable to take additional discounts from sale items.
