She is currently editing a book of designs inspired by libraries. Dorie Horne Fiber artist Dorie designs her own knit and crochet patterns and dyes her own yarns. With her family, she markets a line of artisan products under the label Midnite Oils. Sharon Spence New shop owner Sharon has been dyeing yarn as “Stitch Jones” for the past few years, and has taught knitting classes at yarn shops in the Portland metro area. Lynn Venghaus An accomplished knitter, Lynn designs her own knitwear and has made over 180 sweaters for kids in foster care. Brian Witt Brian knows crochet! While he is an expert on various techniques, he especially enjoys teaching this versatile art to beginners. Robin Woodford Robin previously co-owned Kathy’s Knit Korner, and has taught knitting and crochet to many. Class Policies Registration: Register for classes at the shop, or call us at 503-648-8525 to register with a credit card. Payment: Class fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the first class session. Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel classes up to 72 hours in advance. If you have paid for a class that cancels, you will receive a full refund. Materials: We offer a 10% discount on class materials (except Addi products). A new year is just under way! Now that the end of year holidays are over, many knitters and crocheters who have spent the last few months working on holiday gifts are looking for new inspiration and fresh ideas. The trunk show and sale that was scheduled for Saturday, January 7, with PDX Knitterati and Knitted Wit, has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 21st, at 1:00. Please help us welcome Michele and Lorajean as they bring their original patterns and lovely hand dyed yarns to our shop. We're glad to know that so many of our customers appreciate and support local, independent businesses and artisans, after all without you we wouldn't be here!
